CEMARS certification is for large organisation or large emitting industries to measure their greenhouse gas emissions, put in place plans to reduce them and have both of these steps independently certified.The CEMARS methodology for producing an organisational carbon footprint is aligned with the internationally recognisedGreenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) for corporate accounting and reporting and with ISO 14064-1 specifi cation withguidance at the organisational level for quantifi cation and reporting of GHG emissions and removals. The CEMARS carbonfootprint exceeds the technical requirements for GHG emissions reporting of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
