The Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP) is a system which displays the carbon footprint of products on the packaging allowing consumers to obtain reliable information about GHG emissions and make informed decisions. The goal of the CFP system is to allow consumers to take the first step towards reducing emissions by promoting the purchase of the products with the lowest carbon footprint. The program also promotes the companies who consume and dispose in a sustainable way and who recycle.
